Ifigeneia

Hot tip for everyone in Trondheim: Go see Ifigeneia at Trøndelag Teater! Probably the most interesting and entertaining play I’ve seen in years (and I have seen quite a few).

Ifigeneia is Finn Iunker’s version of a Greek tragedy originally by Euripedes, but don’t let the fact that this is Greek or a tragedy put you off (if you’re not really into that). The play is hilarious and absurd, with an excellent cast, and the scenography alone is worth the ticket price. But do please hurry, it is only on for another couple of weeks! I saw it tonight and I am definitely going again before it completes its run. It’s been a very long time since I saw something this amazing. Props to Trøndelag Teater (pun kind of intended…)!

Love, Mari

  3. The setting of the play (if that is what you asked…) is somewhere on the way to Troy. I can’t remember the exact location though… 🙂
